Kia "Rio"
For the fourth installment in the animated KIA campaign, London’s Passion Pictures make the switch from CG to stop motion.

The characters are still designed by Pete Fowler of Monsterism fame (www.monsterism.net) but directing duties shift from Pete Candeland to veteran stop motion helmer Mike Mort, also repped by Passion Pictures.

Softimage XSI 5.0 was used for animation/rendering while After Effects was used for final compositing.

Vodafone "Mayfly"
BBH’s debut work for the Vodafone account is a balletic charmer that progresses from documentary to Disney as it follows the 24-hour life of a mayfly.

Passion Pictures gave the mayfly CG life and then passed the animation to fellow London facility Absolute for the meticulous compositing.

Softimage XSI 4.2 was used for the animation/rendering while After Effects was used for pre-compositing tasks before delivering final plates Absolute's Flame Suites
